Harvard Prize Book

一、由來：

自1910年來哈佛大學校友會總會設立了Harvard Prize Book至今，已經數十年的歷史，目的對於表現優異及有天份的高中生，不但肯定其表現，也是幫助及提供學生能夠順利進入哈佛大學或是其他升學的管道。本獎項在已有超過1900所高中在全世界各國頒發，由各國當地的哈佛大學校友會分會會長在該校畢業典禮中表揚受獎學生。

二、對象：

凡在中華民國就學之高中生，有志前往美國大學進修學士學位者，均可申請

三、獎項內容

(1) 哈佛大學出版品原文書一本

(2) 中華民國哈佛大學校友會獎牌

四、申請人資格

(1) 高中二年級在學學生

(2) 品行良好

(3) 學業成績優良

(4) 學業成績以外的特殊表現

(5) 領導能力

五、申請辦法

申請者必須準備下列文件：

(1) 申請表格 (空白表格由本會提供)

(2) 自傳一篇

(3) 所有高中學業成績

(4) 非學業成績之特殊表現之相關資料

六、申請辦法

申請人請備妥以上資料後交給學校教務處主辦人員，由學校推薦名額中，再由本會評審委員會中從每所參與學校中選出一名的獎者。

七、申請日期

即日起向所就讀學校申請至四月三十日止，各校於五月十日前遞件本會，本會於五月底前由本會評審委員會選出後通知各校。於該學期與高三畢業典禮中頒發獎項。

Harvard Prize Book

1. Background

Since 1910, the Harvard Prize Book has been an important way for Harvard Club members to help attract talented young people to Harvard and the opportunities in Cambridge.  The Prize Book is awarded to outstanding students in the next to the graduating class who demonstrate excellence in scholarship and achievement in other non-academic areas.  Over 1,900 high schools around the world has applied it annually.

2. Who can apply?

All the students in Taiwan would like to advance college study in the USA.

3. Prize

(1) A. Harvard Books published by Harvard College.

(2) Certificate by HCROC

4. Qualification

(1) 2^nd year of upper school

(2) Excellency in academic section

(3) Outstanding performance in non-academic section

(4) Leadership

5. Application

(1) Application form

(2) Auto biology

(3) Transcripts for Upper School

(4) Demonstration for non-academic areas

Please submit your application package to your school by 2008/4/30. 

School will submit application for our committee to review by 2008/05/10.
